With a vibrant musical score by Brazilian percussionist and composer Adriano Adewale, Hatch is a journey through worlds bright with a mesmerizing blend of sights and sounds influenced by samba and jazz.
From flowing water and whistling winds to the beautiful call of a bird, new sounds are discovered in unlikely places and imaginations set alight with evocative, rich rhythms.
Polka Theatre and The Royal Opera have created an inspiring and wonderful new sensory experience for children aged two to five. Composed and co-directed by Brazilian percussionist and composer Adewale, and Polka’s Artistic Director Peter Glanville, Hatch features designs by Sophia Lovell-Smith and is performed by Oliver Kaderbhai and Luiz Morais.
