The CASS London Met Presents: DEN – A festival of secrets, cryptic missions and general hush-hush at Shoreditch Town Hall.
Deep below street level in London’s Shoreditch, a subterranean world awaits you. Here you will be greeted by the Blue Fairy, now Head of Compassionate Liaisons for the local borough of Whimsey, and Sandy Sizzers and Chantelle Dye will pamper you at their secret salon. You will find out whether Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are really dead and sneak into Jean Genet’s study as he’s busy writing The Maids. Hear some juicy gossip at a cocktail bar, before enrolling as a KGB cabaret spy and exploring an ancient Greek underworld. Then wait for the Apocalypse whilst watching Ghostbusters, the musical.
Curated by Jacek Ludwig Scarso and set in the atmospheric basement of Shoreditch Town Hall, Theatre & Performance at The Cass, London Met, presents a programme of site-specific performances and installations on the themes of secrecy and disguise as part of the DEN festival.
