Monorogue returns to the Old Red Lion Theatre with its sixth show of new writing and audience participation in April.
Who would dream of making themselves look stupid for a pathetically small reward? Who wants guaranteed public ridicule? Who would actually take part in a tacky, humiliating game show? Monorogue has found some unfortunate souls who will.
Wheel of Misfortune is the sixth themed show from the Monorogue team – entirely new writing, mostly by the cast, which gives the audience a chance to get involved. The cast includes Ben Altimira, Daniel James Bailey, Anabel Barnston, Geraldine Brennan, Helen Rose Hampton, Angela Harvey, Laurie Stevens and Michael Luke Walsh.
The Monorogue series was created and is co-produced by a company of actors including the cast of the current show, who met while training or performing with The salon:collective. Past shows include Into the Darkness for Hallowe’en and to the Morning After Clinic for Valentine’s Day.
Wheel of Misfortune plays Old Red Lion Theatre on 23 – 25 April. For more information and to book tickets, visit the website.
